  Should Apple be worried about legal problems for its subcontractor Corning? The New York company is being accused of "anti-competitive practices" by Brussels. You may not know this, but iPhones are a real puzzle. Each smartphone is a complex assembly of hundreds of parts, all produced by different subcontractors. While  TSMC  handles the chips from its facilities in Taiwan, Samsung and LG are responsible for the displays, and the American company Corning, based in New York, sells Apple protective glass.
